Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026

Pylon is a draft assistant for Sleeper fantasy football leagues. This policy explains what information Pylon collects, why, and who else sees it. It covers the app you are using now at this address, and the public marketing site that links to it.

What we collect

Depending on how you use Pylon, we collect:

  • Your Sleeper username and Sleeper user ID. These are looked up through Sleeper's own public API, which is read-only. We never receive your Sleeper password and we cannot make changes to your Sleeper account.
  • An email address and password, only if you choose to add them. Guest accounts (see below) start with neither. If you register directly, or later upgrade a guest account, we store the email and a securely hashed password through our authentication provider, Supabase.
  • Draft and league identifiers, and cached draft data. When you connect a league or draft, we store its Sleeper ID and a label you (or the sync) gave it, so you can come back to it. We also cache pick-by-pick draft data briefly, to keep the live board fast and to avoid re-fetching the same data from Sleeper on every screen refresh.
  • Basic usage and analytics events, if Google Analytics is configured for the site you're on. This is standard page-view and event analytics (e.g. which pages are visited, whether a sign-up completed), not a profile built from your fantasy team data. If it isn't configured, no analytics events are sent at all.

We do not collect payment information of any kind today. See "No billing yet" below.

How we use it

We use your Sleeper account information to fetch your leagues and drafts from Sleeper and compute the recommendations you see on the board: things like value-over-replacement, tiers, survival percentages, and roster needs. This computation happens on our servers, not on Sleeper's.

Where Pylon uses AI (Google Gemini) to generate written draft advice or a post-draft recap, the model is given the app's own computed features, such as your current roster needs, a player's tier and value score, and pick-survival odds. It is not given your raw account details, email, or Sleeper credentials.

Third parties we work with

  • Supabase hosts our authentication system and application database (saved leagues, saved drafts, your Sleeper profile link).
  • Google Analytics provides basic usage analytics, and only runs when we have configured a measurement ID for the property you're on. It is off by default.
  • Google Gemini generates the written draft advice and recap narratives, fed the computed features described above.
  • Sleeper's public API is the source of your username, leagues, drafts, and player data. Pylon is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sleeper, and only reads public data through Sleeper's own API.

Guest accounts

Choosing "Continue as guest" creates a real account behind the scenes, just one with no password: technically an anonymous account through our authentication provider. It behaves like any other account (your saved leagues, drafts, and queue all persist), and you can add an email and password to it at any time to turn it into a full account without losing anything.

Being honest about the current state of things: we do not yet have an automated process that deletes guest accounts that are abandoned and never upgraded. A cleanup policy for old, unclaimed guest accounts is planned but not built yet. If you'd like a guest account removed in the meantime, contact us using the address below.

No billing yet

Pylon does not currently process payments. There is no Stripe integration or any other payment processor wired up as of this writing, so no billing or card information is collected today. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any payment feature goes live.

Cookies and sessions

Pylon sets one session cookie so you stay logged in between visits. That's the extent of it: we do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your account and associated data, or to export a copy of what we have stored about you, at any time. We don't yet have a dedicated support inbox, so for now please reach out to:

Children's privacy

Pylon is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage checking back occasionally if you have concerns about how your data is handled.
